These brand-new bars have an aged appearance thanks to their antique polish. Most of the time, antique finishes offer soft, subtle nuances to the bar’s design and appearance, giving the finished product more depth and personality. All of the engravings included on this product are found on the obverse face of the bar. Starting at the top and moving below, the engravings are set vertically on the bar. “Valcambi Suisse” and the company logo are printed across the top. The weight, metal composition, and purity of the bar are engraved below those markings. The assayer’s mark, which is the last engraving, certifies that the bar’s weight, content, and metal purity have been examined and authorized by independent assayers in Switzerland. Below that, each bar has its own unique serial number engraved on it to help with product authentication. As Valori & Cambi, Valcambi Suisse was founded in 1961. Credit Suisse acquired the business in 1968, resulting in the merger of the businesses that gave rise to the name Valcambi Suisse.
