The 2023 1 oz Silver Eagle Design

The obverse displays the famous Adolph A. Weinman’s “Walking Liberty” design. In the image, Lady Liberty is the feminine personification of the nation. As she walks under the sun, carrying some oak branches in her left arm and the American flag over her shoulders, her right arm is stretched in a welcoming sign. On this side, the word “LIBERTY” stands on the upper rim, the year of mintage on the bottom, and next to the image, the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST.” The reverse depicts the third edition of the Heraldic Eagle’s new design. The artist Emily Damstra signs the unique reverse design released in 2020. The image showcases a more natural Eagle as it flies, clutching a large oak branch. On the outer rim, the inscriptions are: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER”, and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is right above the coin’s weight.
